SCOOTOURS

Abseil Africa_Scootours

A Unique way to Experience Cape Town’s Table Mountain. This 5 km track will take you on an adventurous off road track down the side of Signal Hill into Bo-Kaap. The Experience continues as you are transported to Table Mountain for you final run down a single track off this world famous land mark!

We start at Table Mountain’s Lower Parking Area just off Kloof Nek Road. This is at the Table Mountain Info Office and there is plenty of safe parking.

After guests are kitted out with their helmets and gloves they get transported to the top of Signal Hill for their 1st Downhill Run. The trip is not only fun but also informative as the guides will keep you entertained with info about the area as well!

We get picked up in Bo Kaap by the driver and then we head for the main run down Table Mountain from Dead Man’s tree all the way down to Deer Park where the driver will pick us up again and bring us back to the starting point at Lower Table Mountain.
Scooters are non motorised making this eco friendly. These Swiss designed scooters are used in the Alps during the summer season on the ski slopes when the snow is gone. All trips are guided by professional qualified guides.

SEAL SNORKELING

We will provide the wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins as well as a short training session to make sure you are comfortable with the mask and snorkel. Not keen to get in the water but would like to come and watch your friends and family snorkel? You’re more than welcome to join on the boat at an additional cost.

Paragliding

Enjoy an exhilarating tandem paragliding flight from Signal hill or Lions head. It is by far probably one of the most exciting adventure sports in Cape Town. No other activity would let you enjoy spectacular panoramas of the Table Mountain, the City Bowl with no windows to block your view! No matter how nervous you might feel before takeoff (or for some, even the very thought of paragliding), the experienced team will put you at ease. Once you are in the air enjoy a birds eye view of one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

Cape Point and Peninsula Tour

Where do the two oceans meet? And why is it called “the Cape of Good Hope”? Join us on a journey of discovery as we explore the splendour of the Cape Peninsula in Cape Town. We follow the Atlantic Seaboard, past Clifton & Camps Bay, to the fishing hamlet of Hout Bay for an optional boat cruise to Duiker Island to experience thousands of Cape Fur Seals in their natural habitat (R65). We continue along the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive to Simon’s Town to meet up with a colony of rare Jackass Penguins at Boulders Beach. You would’ve noticed the bicycles behind the bus by now! we swap four wheels for two to get some fresh air into our lungs and to build up a healthy appetite.

Our legendary scrumptious picnic lunch will then be served somewhere in the reserve… maybe at one of the stunning beaches! Are you brave enough to challenge the Atlantic?
After lunch we hike to the top lighthouse at Cape Point and then to the Cape of Good Hope. Both hikes offer breathtaking vistas and REAL fresh air! We return home via Scarborough and Kommetjie.

Duration: 8 hours 30 minutes
When: All Year except for on Christmas Day & New Years Day and the day of the Cape Town Cycle Tour. This is usually on the first Sunday of March.
Where: We Pick up and drop off anywhere in the city center and immediate surrounding suburbs. If you are outside of these parameters, then you will need to make your way to an arranged meeting point in the city center. Your pick up time is a half hour time frame from the time given for your area see below [to be ready from the earlier time] 07h30 – 08h00 – Rondebosch / Rosebank 07h30 – 08h00 – Observatory 08h00 – 08h30 – Gardens / Vredehoek/ Oranjezicht / Higgovale 08h15 – 08h45 – Longstreet / Foreshore / Waterfront 08h30 – 09h00 – Greenpoint 08h45 – 09h15 – Sea Point / Camps Bay 09h00 – 09h30 – Hout bay [by arrangement – NOTE: we do not drop off in Hout Bay, will drop in City or as far back as Camps Bay]
Weather: We run irrespective of weather.
